The Green Socks

Hi everyone, I am Paul Glatzer. My hobby is Special Olympics weight lifting. When my coach was telling us athletes to practice lifting weights, first they got to count which days we practice every month. It really counted when I starting wearing green socks because it give me power to lift heavy weight, like 135 & 125 & 145 & 150 is the top score in bench press because of my green socks did the trick for me. When I feel proud what I did, I don't feel ashamed of it. Because it puts me in good mood with passion in me really made me turn my life around. Since I started wearing green socks for 2 or 3 year's ago, that's why I got gold medal for to feel proud of to make every one to be proud of me what I did in our moment to kept in our mind. Some one to look up to, saying, "How did you got that green socks?" Well, I told them I got it from the mall or maybe my aunt made it for me, and they want to buy it from me so they could feel proud to wear it to get power in side of them too! Also. Love paul

Hi Paul,

I like to wear my special shirt when I am writing. I understand that you like to write, so do you wear anything special when writing?

I don't have any green socks, but maybe I will think about buying some because I think green is a lucky color.

My name is Jon and I know your big sister. I know Jenna is so proud of you and I can understand why.

I wish you the best of luck with the training. Please tell us more about your weight lifting. I used to weight lift also.

Bye,

Jon

Dude, I've looked at your picture. I think you are strong enough without any green socks, from what I can see!

And congratulations on the Gold medal.

Your sister is very proud of you, by the way, but I'm sure she has already told you that.

Dang, those socks are bright!

All of us could use more green socks in our lives...

Talking of green socks, I'm reminded of many years ago, when I wore green socks to school. Another boy made fun of me for it. I realize now he was jealous of their power.

Keep up your training with the weight lifting...you're doing quite well.

Hello Paul,

I like the idea of your green socks making you more powerful. In the bible, Samson believed his strength was in his long hair. For me, when I'm writing, I like to wear my favourite shirt. Maybe your green socks will start a new trend!

The green socks are special for sure, Paul. Don't ever sell them to people who want to buy it from you. So nice of you to say that buying them a new pair from school is a good idea. You have a very big heart :-)

You sure have a lot of power and your story is so inspiring. Thanks for sharing :)

Hi Paul,

I have always been a fan of green socks myself, and in fact, my husband usually bothers me about them! I bought a bunch of green NIKE soccer socks - you know, the kind that go to your knees - and they have lasted me for years!

Your blog is fun and I can't wait to read more posts!

Your friend, Pam

Hi Paul,

I have a special fishing hat that makes me feel like I'm going to have a great day - and I always do!

Green socks, special hats and believing are all wonderful things.
